OUTFIT: boat shoes.

Who else is as excited as I am about the fact that the current weather doesn’t require jackets anymore? Even though I’ve been battling a sore throat (and now lack of voice) for the past week, I am so happy about the arrival of Spring. No jackets, no socks, sunnies all day – sounds like a plan, right? For yesterday’s meetings and to-dos, I finally took out my Timberland boat shoes for the first time. They’ve patiently been waiting in my closet for a few weeks now. I’ve been around boat shoes all my life (my dad wears them religiously and Mike also has 2 pairs), but this the first pair of my own. I’ve always found them to be a bit too classic for my style, but with the white bottoms and light pink stitching I was sold in a heart beat. Notice how the stitching matches my favorite bag? Love it! Plus, they are so incredibly comfortable and the perfect companions for some distressed denim and a casual sweater!

PS. During the month of May you can get your pair of Timberland boat shoes personalizes with patches in the Berlin, Hamburg and Zurich locations.

WOW! Finally! I’ve always been wanting to get a pair, but never really new if they would work with my style. Now looking at your post really make me reconsider – it looks FABULOUS! I am all in….I think I may have to splurge on them 🙂

I know that this is an older post, but can you give me more information on your shoes? I stumbled upon this on Pinterest. Were the shoes customized? If so, what materials & colors did you use? They are exactly what I have been looking for, but the Timberland website does not show leather that looks like your pair. Thanks!

      Hi Emma,
unfortunately this model of Timberlands is super old. They were not specifically customized, however, they were from a special collection. As this look is from over 3 years ago, I have no idea if they still make this model or not 🙁 So sorry I can’t be of more help!

To the women asking about the Timberland boat shoes: I found the exact same ones after a Google search led me to an English company called Country Attire. I got them at a discount, as the only had two pairs left, in a non-common size, American womens size 10. I am a male, and can easily fit into a U.S. womens size 10. Service from countryattire.com was superb, even though I live in the U.S.
These shoes are made for the European market, and are slightly different from the U.S.-market Timberland boat shoes. The ones I got are very high quality. They fit me perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. I don’t know if anyone here wears a size 10, but if so, there was one pair left.
The shoes (and the rest of the outfit) look great as modeled by the blogger. I am a (sorta) typical guy who borrows bits of my style from womens fashion, which I find more intersesting than menswear. I dreamed of working in the fasion industry, but it was only a fantasy; ended up in the construction industry instead, as it pays the bills.
    Cheers!
