If you would have asked me 10 days ago, how I feel about the color orange, I would have probably answered something about only liking orange related to a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne or the actual fruit, preferably for breakfast. Little did I know that it is a color that actually works pretty well with blue eyes and freckled skin.

Last week, I stumbled into Mango, saw this wrap blouse (under 50€) and instantly fell for it. While I pictured wearing it in the Hamptons with wide silky pants, I have to admit that it has quickly become a go-to piece to dress up every-day looks such as a simple pair of denim. Just goes to show, that we shouldn’t be so fast to rule out certain colors of our wardrobe. I will always love my basics in white, gray, nude or black, but every once in a while, a show-stopping color certainly doesn’t hurt – quite the contrary, actually…
