CRAVINGS: shades of pink.

Although I wouldn't necessarily see myself as someone who wears a lot of pink, an occasional touch of pink certainly doesn't hurt. Especially if it is muted and could just as well get by as a neutral. Take my Valentino lock bag, for example. It may not be everyone's first choice of color, but I've found it to work with literally almost every single look I've worn throughout the past year...

OUTFIT: friday, I’m in love…

...with my new bag from Monnier Freres ♥ If you're on Instagram, chance are you've already spotted the newest addition to my bag collection. The Jimmy Choo Lockett petite bag in black with gold hardware. It was a Christmas present "to me, from me" and will probably be my favorite bag of 2016 - at least as far as the first month goes, who knows what the rest of the year has in store for my closet.

CRAVINGS: so cold.

After an unexpectedly warm December, I literally forgot what Winter can be like. Temperatures below zero - what's that? Well, today was a pretty good reminder. With -2°C plus windchill is freezing, trust me! In other words: I need to dress warmer.

JUICE CLEANSE: yes, no, maybe so?

After a vacation filled with indulgences, I was ready for a healthy game changer this week to get me back on track. When I think back to last week in Maui, it is hard to pinpoint what exactly I liked the most. Every single day was special in it's own, we were out and about most days and explored the island. However, the Road to Hana definitely at the very top of that list! Even before traveling to Maui, the famous road popped up in every single guide I read and lots of recommendations from friends also mentioned Hana...

Aloha, Maui!

First up for Maui: Getting leid upon arrival! I have to admit, I was pretty excited about this one. I think a lei made of pretty flowers is something that pops into most of our heads when we think of the Hawaiian islands. Just the thought of receiving such a beautiful gift made me happy, and sure enough we were greeted with a pink flower lei and a kukui nut lei (for Mike) as well as some ginger-mint lemonade at the hotel...

More green, please!

Aside from plenty of sleep and relaxation, vacation also means plenty of indulging. A cocktail by the pool, molten chocolate cake and red wine for dessert. A few nachos as an afternoon snack and french toast for breakfast. You know the drill, right? So this week, I am excited about getting back to my healthy routine, ...
