During the weeks and days leading up to my 30th birthday, I found myself thinking about the number more and more.
Two weeks ago, I boarded the A380 heading from Vienna to Dubai for a super short (but very meaningful) lesson on wellbeing at The Retreat Palm Dubai.
Mid-January is usually when my tolerance for Winter starts to decline drastically. Up until Christmas Winter time flies by, then I am caught in the holiday spirit surrounded by my loved ones, start the new year with the best intentions and get excited about a bit of snow and a crisp blue sky in the mountains.
My problem with Winter in Vienna? My inner clock always gets tricked into thinking Winter ends after the holidays are over.
Strange thoughts cross our mind during sleepless nights. I don’t know about you, but when I lay in bed, wide awake my thoughts usually start to wander in all sorts of directions.
It has been way too long since I last shared a recipe (or post for that matter) here on the blog.

Whenever I pack my bags to travel somewhere (favorite destination: home for the holidays), I find myself standing in the bathroom, looking at all those pretty little bottles on the shelf and contemplating which ones are really worth the limited space in my suitcase.
It’s that (dreaded) time of the year again. The time when even I have to come to terms with the fact that bare ankles will no longer do outside the comfort of our heated apartment.
