Even though some of you may have already seen our Travel Diary over on The Daily Dose, I still wanted to share some impressions from my weekend in Milano a week ago.
Even though I haven’t always been a sneaker girl, I’ve recently really grown to like the trend. Possibly because I am getting older and don’t want to waste my time with aching feet any more.
What is it about girls and jewels? Not without reason is there a saying that “diamonds are a girl’s best friend”.
I just got back from Milano last night and am still in love with the amazing time Kathi and I had there this past weekend.
Kathi and I are currently in Milano to visit the “Confessions of Design” exhibition by 61 Austrian designers, manufacturers and traditional companies as part of Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
When we decided to move into our new apartment 2 years ago, we also replaced most of our “student living” furniture (aka IKEA) and made a few investments, including our current bed.
When Mike texted me yesterday, saying he’d make dinner, I didn’t know what to expect. Little did I know that he had an ace up his sleeve and he surprised me with amazing tuna poke.
The best way to fight the Monday blues? Sequins, of course! I don’t know why, but the second I spot something glittery, I am usually sold.
Even though I am not much of a lipstick-kinda-girl, there are some days on which I simply crave a bolder lip in pink or red.
