TRAVELS: hello from the Schlosshotel Velden
The Wörthersee in Carinthia is definitely one of my favorite places in Austria. Mike and I try to make it down there (just a 3hr drive from Vienna) at least once a year for a bit of relaxation!

Last Saturday was absolutely amazing! I spent the morning shooting new stuff for The Daily Dose with Kathi, and around noon, when we were finished the weather felt like spring in full force.

RECIPE: “operation macarons”
As mentioned in yesterday’s post, our mission for Sunday was to make macarons. One of Mike’s best friends was my partner in crime and all week he was busy researching the perfect recipe!
CRAVINGS: casual sunday
For me, Sundays are sacred. I cherish it as the one day per week that is dedicated strictly to sleeping in, coffee runs with the boyfriend, watching movies and amazing food!

With my friends, I am already known as the girl with a leo obsession. Whenever they spot something with the animal print, I usually receive a text message, email of photo with the message “so you!”.
VIENNA: GELeration pedicure at Topkapi salon
For about 6 months now, I’ve been getting regular gel pedicures. I know that gel polishes have been around for a few years, but for my hands I get sick of the same color after about 5 days, so I only tried it once about 3 years ago and didn’t like it.
OUTFIT: feels like spring!
It is incredible to me, how much of an impact the weather has on my mood. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is open the blinds a few inches, just enough to get a glance at the sky.

Gold glitter, a bit of neon pink and polka dots is really all it takes to win my heart. And boy, did Forever 21 nail it with their new beauty accessories!
