RECIPE: “operation macarons”

Don’t ask me how I managed to celebrate my birthday without a camera on hand, but for some reason I totally forgot to properly capture my 25th.
As you guys know, I am a firm believer in cleaning out your closet at least once per year (preferably every 6 months).
I know a lot of you are interested in my diet and fitness. I receive emails asking about staying healthy on an almost daily basis.
This past weekend I FINALLY made something I have been craving for weeks: thai summer rolls. Up until now, I’ve only ever had them at restaurants, because quite frankly they impressed me too much and I figured they would probably be pretty hard to make.
It’s been a while since the last Sunday Cravings, but with my birthday coming up next weekend there are plenty of things I am currently craving!
Guess what? I’ve been tea-toxing! I haven’t posted about it on Facebook or Instagram (@vickyheiler) because I didn’t want to hype the whole thing, and also because I wanted to take some time to test it before writing about it.
It’s Friday and I seriously couldn’t be happier about it. I was on a mission to accomplish A LOT this past week and I am actually pretty proud of everything I got done!
For the last post of our Christmas & NYE get-away I wanted to tell you guys about the hotel we stayed at in Mexico.
During the week we spent in Mexico (we stayed in Playa del Carmen), we also managed to take a trip to Tulum, a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city which served as a major port for Cobá.
