In my head, September always belongs to Summer rather than Autumn. None-the-less, it is a month of transition. The days become shorter again and the nights cooler. Even on the sunniest days, you can feel a hint of Fall in the air.

As much as I adore Summer, there is something really exciting about the change in season. Aside from the fact that light lunch salads are making way for Pho soup or Indian food at the office again, it is also the best time to shop. It may take some inner courage to purchase a fluffy faux fur coat in August, but trust me when I tell you, you will be glad you did when those first cold days in October roll around and all the good pieces and sizes are sold out already.

Even though I know September will have some more Summer in store for me (heading to Italy tomorrow and Ibiza in 3 weeks), this is the first look of Fall featuring my new long checked blazer – an absolute must-have this Autumn. It combines just the right amount of business vibes with a casual cool longer fit. This type of a blazer will look amazing for a day at the office (as way the case yesterday for me) or a total black look, some red lips and heels for a night out. The best part?
