While Mike has been gone on a boys’ trip to Ibiza for the past 5 days, I took the opportunity to get a few things from my personal to-do list done, including a little table for dining up on the deck.
On Sunday we had an amazing style shoot for The Daily Dose (“Wedding Week” is coming up towards the end of June –
Things are finally starting to feel like Summer around here and I cannot wait for our first outdoor girls night of the season!
When we decided to move into our new apartment 2 years ago, we also replaced most of our “student living” furniture (aka IKEA) and made a few investments, including our current bed.
Just 2 days ago, I found out that there is such a thing as international “happy day” (March 20th). As a person who generally thinks that life is much more worth while when you’re happy, I will obviously make it a celebration from now on!
It’s no secret that I am a huge candle lover (remember this post?) and I always have some around. Whether it is the coffee table, nightstand or in the entry way.
I feel that any time you come home after a long trip, you appreciate your surroundings a bit more than before you left.
A few weeks ago I mentioned that I wanted to make a few small changes for our living room. As you know I ADORE my patterned pillows, but for winter I wanted something a little less colorful and cozier.
As you guys know, I have a major weakness for home decor and everything that goes along with it. We’re just finally settling in the new apartment (after a year) and I am already dreaming of completely starting over.
Even though we’re pretty well on our way in terms of the apartment being completely decorated (I am actually sad that I don’t have an excuse to constantly browse the online stores for new items anymore …), there is still one major challenge that needs to be tackled:
Our new dining area is finally coming together (see the old version HERE) and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything has turned out.
