FITNESS DIARY: 4 weeks of workouts.

This year, I’ve really been trying my best to stick to a regular workout routine. I am usually happy with myself and my body, but my metabolism has always been super slow (especially since my mid-twenties … talk about clichés), which requires me to workout in order to eat like a normal person. Including a burger every once in a while. To me personally, it is all about the balance! Working out regularly means about 3 times per week. That is a number that is manageable with my schedule and leaves me feeling happy and content. Everything more than the “regular” makes me proud and of course the goal would be somewhere around 5 sweat sessions per week, which I want to turn into my “regular” by the time Summer rolls around. Last year I didn’t really spend much time blogging about fitness, possibly because I didn’t spend as much time exercising?! But this year I definitely want to make it more of a topic here on the blog again. That’s why I’ve been keeping notes for the past 4 weeks with a little fitness diary. Funny enough, I got food poisoning the second the 4 weeks were over – meaning: I haven’t worked out all week but am sitting here telling you guys all about how active I’ve been. Talk about timing, right?

    Eine tolle Idee, so ein Fitness-Tagebuch zu führen! Dann sieht man mal, wie fleißig man eigentlich ist …
    ich muss auch dringend schauen, dass ich wieder Routine reinbekomme. Seit ich in den neuen Job gestartet bin, ist fürs Training kaum noch Zeit – und bis zum Sommer dauert es ja nicht mehr ganz lange!

    Wow, Respekt und dein Ziel von mehr als 3 x die Woche Sport hast du ja oft geschafft. Bei den Lauf-Einheiten würde mich interessieren: Entscheidest du spontan wie lange du laufen möchtest oder setzt du dir vorher ein Ziel (und hälst es auch ein)?

      Eigentlich immer spontan je nachdem wie viel Zeit ich hab oder wie’s läuft 🙂
