Dressed Accordingly: Beach to Bar
It seems like a lifetime ago that I claimed to “not be a dress girl”. Now, with Summer in full force and temperatures climbing above 30°C, I cannot imagine a life without a closet full of light and airy dresses.

The week between Christmas and NYE is generally the time of the year where you find yourself caught in a mix of sweatpants and sequins.
October in Vienna is that awkward time of the year where the mornings are soaked in cold, wet fog and the afternoons are drenched in sunlight and warmth.
While I could start this post by writing about all the ways I have been busy over the past few weeks, highlighting all of the wonderful things that I get to experience, fact is:
It is no secret that I am a major denim girl. I love a good pair of jeans more than most other items in my closet and it is usually my go-to choice.
If I had to pick one look to wear for the rest of my life, it would most likely consist of some kind of light blue denim (high-waisted, preferably), paired with a basic shirt, sparkling accessories and an eye-catching bag.
I don’t know about you, but I am so excited to update my wardrobe a bit in these next weeks as the weather shifts from chilly winter temperatures to those warmer spring days.
There is nothing quite as elegant and springtime-appropriate as a crispy white blazer. But hey, I get it, white can be intimidating.
Mid-January is usually when my tolerance for Winter starts to decline drastically. Up until Christmas Winter time flies by, then I am caught in the holiday spirit surrounded by my loved ones, start the new year with the best intentions and get excited about a bit of snow and a crisp blue sky in the mountains.
For the past 10 years, fitness has been a part of my life. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Meaning: For most of my adult-life, I have worked out.
It’s that (dreaded) time of the year again. The time when even I have to come to terms with the fact that bare ankles will no longer do outside the comfort of our heated apartment.
Here’s the deal: While I preach about all these alternatives to wearing black during Winter and am constantly looking for lighter colors to keep me warm, fact is that nothing is quite as easy (and timeless) like an all black ensemble.
