Bonjour de Paris! Even though I had 4 years of French in school, my language skills barely manage to get me a café au lait and croissant for breakfast.
We made it to March – and in my world, that means we made it to Spring! Even though the temperatures are not quite there yet, I am mentally (and physically) already wearing palazzo pants and denim jackets in celebration of warmer days.
While I am usually someone who prefers a super simple make-up during the week - especially for a day at the office - I do have to say that I loved the red lips. I am not quite sure what it is about lipstick, but the right color can give your self confidence an instant boost and make you feel kind cool, right?
In theory, I like to consider my style fairly laid-back, casual and basic in a sense that I love things that work in lots of different ways and aren’t too loud.
It is not common that I get overly excited about Mondays, but ever since the weather report started promising 18°C for today, I couldn’t wait for the new week to start.
I think I am amongst the few people that don't mind getting older. As my mom has always said "growing old is a privilege that not everyone gets to have". So true! Yesterday I turned 27 and even though the big three zero is slowly getting closer, I don't mind one bit. There is something exciting about getting older. Today's outfit for dinner by the beach in Mauritius basically combines 3 of those. I've been a fan of wide-legged pants for a few years now and the white palazzo pants were my No.1 must-have last Summer...
With -10°C last week and 17°C yesterday, it is becoming quite the challenge to dress the part. Currently, I am back to leather jackets and cardigans - in January! At least, the current weather has allowed me to go back to sneakers instead of boots and ...
Fashion week can be a bit intimidating when it comes to packing and choosing the right outfits. The more I am becoming a part of the whole thing, the more I am starting to feel comfortable. I think it is safe to say that Fashion Weeks are definitely not about dressing up, but more about embracing your personal style.
...with my new bag from Monnier Freres ♥ If you're on Instagram, chance are you've already spotted the newest addition to my bag collection. The Jimmy Choo Lockett petite bag in black with gold hardware. It was a Christmas present "to me, from me" and will probably be my favorite bag of 2016 - at least as far as the first month goes, who knows what the rest of the year has in store for my closet.
