It is not every day that your best friend gets married. And when she does, chances are high you want to look your best when you stand by her side as she says “I do!”.
While I am still a big advocate of off-shoulder tops for Summer, I feel like one-shoulder has become the new off-shoulder this season.
I don’t think I have ever packed as light for a week-long trip as I did for our stay at VIVAMAYR.
Girls and tulle will probably be a love affair for generations to come – just like it has been for the past decade or so.
It doesn’t take a lot to look the part. At least if you ask me. There is not much that can compete with a great pair of jeans and a classic white blouse.
It would be repetitive to tell you guys how much I adore a good pair of palazzo pants. By now, most of you have probably gotten the hint that it is simply one of those pieces I have a serious weakness for.
This week, it was “back to Berlin” for Fashion Week. This time around, I got lucky and Mike also had to be in Berlin all week for work, which meant having my favorite person to come “home”
When I was younger – growing up in Southern California – driving up to L.A. was always a highlight. It was usually connected with some sort of weekend activities and my parents would take the time to drive through Beverly Hills with us kids to go “house hunting”.

Packing for a 2-week long trip is never an easy task, especially if different climates and occasions await. As you guys know, we attended a wedding in California (which was the main reason for the trip), and the festivities also involved a rehearsal dinner.
It has been awfully quiet here on the blog this past week – but with good reason. Those that follow along on Instagram have probably seen that I spent the past 5 days in Ibiza with a big group of girls (+1 boy) to celebrate Kathi’s bachelorette.
