If someone would have told me a month ago that I would (gladly) be having potatoes for breakfast, I would have called them crazy.
If you visit Paris, the typical croissant and café au lait is more or less obligatory at some point during your trip, but for most days, I personally prefer a bowl of granola with almond milk, eggs and avocado toast or porridge.
I have always loved healthy foods and take great pride in eating things that are good for you. For me personally it is easy since I am naturally drawn to the good stuff.
As much as I love my poached eggs in the morning, I also can’t get enough of breakfast bowls. Whether they are fruity smoothie bowls, a deep purple acai bowl or a warm quinoa bowl, they are a great way to start the day.

Last Sunday, Mike and I decided to venture away from our regular bagel place for breakfast and try something new. I’ve been wanting to go to Dots21 to try their breakfast for a while, since the sushi there is always good (the asparagus-truffle roll is to die for!!) and the location is perfect for summer (last seen HERE).
There is something about the combination of eggs and bacon that instantly makes me think of late breakfasts on weekends, and don’t we all love those?
