TRAVELS: Louis Vuitton Maison & Cabinet d’Ecriture
This week has somehow flown by so fast and I don’t know where all my spare time went! I’ve been meaning to share some more impressions from our incredible Louis Vuitton experience in Paris with you, but all of a sudden it was Thursday already… BUT I just now had the chance to go through the rest of my photos from last week’s travels and am finally able to share the second day of our #LVsecretplaces journey with you guys: Visiting the Maison on Champs Élysées and the Cabinet d’Ecriture. Enjoy!
We got up early and headed over to the LV Maison on Champs Élysées right after breakfast, in order to have a peek at the store before they opened their doors to the public. I had visited the store back in March when I was in Paris, but it was such a different experience getting to see it without anyone else there. The Maison is huge and includes much of the family tradition, as well as an exhibition and a few historic artifacts, which are on display around the house. It is definitely worth a stop if you’re in Paris! After the tour we also had a demonstration of “The Art of Packing” with a lot of helpful tips & tricks for getting the maximum use out of your suitcase! (see video below)
{this delicate lace top was love at first sight!}
{Do you guys remember my birthday wishlist? Still very much in love with these cosmetic bags!}
{isn’t this blouse so “me”? Also love at first sight!!}
After the Maison we drove to the Cabinet d’Ecriture, located in Saint-Germain (6 Place Saint- Germain-des-Prés), which is the first stationary store by Louis Vuitton, dedicated to the “World of Writing”. Right when you enter, you see an old trunk which used to belong to Ernest Hemingway. Even though it is a store, it feels much more like a museum and let’s you travel back in time while visiting!
And here is the “Art of Packing” video by Louis Vuitton:
Gorgeous photos!

I agree the blouse is so you but it is so Forever 21 too lol ! Sorry but it doesn’t look high end to me. I can find this in Forever 21 or Zara. 🙂 I hope one day I’ll have my neverfull GM 😉
Was für ein toller Trip! Die Bilder sind traumhaft! Ich finde sowieso, das die LV Stores immer total ‘warm’ und einladend eingerichtet sind. Dort fühlt man sich immer gleich wohl.

handcrafted atmosphere around the whole place. what an advantage to see it calm and nearly empty : )
